WeatherBug Smartphone Widget Sponsored by Allstate Helps On-the-Go Users Stay on Top of Time and Temp

GERMANTOWN, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--WeatherBug® (, the leading provider of consumer and professional weather products and services and operator of the largest weather observing and lightning network, announced that Allstate is the exclusive sponsor of the new WeatherBug Time & Temp widget for Android smartphones. The widget is available for download free of charge in the Android Market.

The sponsorship with Allstate marks the first time that WeatherBug has given an advertiser exclusive exposure on a weather app. Currently, both free and paid versions of WeatherBug mobile apps are available for all smartphone platforms, including Android, BlackBerry, iPhone and Windows Phone 7.

In addition to the mobile sponsorship, Allstate is sponsoring synced leaderboards and rectangular ads that are currently running on the WeatherBug website at
