Society Insurance Chooses Pay-Per-Use Model for Legal Solutions Suite
FALLS CHURCH, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CSC (NYSE: CSC) today announced it is now offering its comprehensive legal management software, Legal Solutions Suite, as a Software as a Service (SaaS) and has signed Society Insurance of Fond du Lac, Wis., as its first client for the SaaS deployment option. Society, a leading provider of workers’ compensation insurance for a variety of industries in the Midwest, will access the CSC-hosted offering via the Internet to improve transparency and consistency in legal matter planning and bill review.

Legal Solutions Suite helps reduce legal expenses by streamlining and managing collaboration with outside counsel. The new SaaS option offers low operational costs with usage-based pricing and an annual renewable contract term to provide maximum flexibility. Clients are able to access and manage Legal Solutions Suite in a hosted, standardized environment and achieve immediate savings of up to eight percent of total legal spend, without having to license and operate the software in their firms’ data centers.
